We encourage tourists and travellers to participate in the local economy by purchasing locally-made souvenirs, especially the kente cloth, adinkra cloth, wooding carvings and eat delicious and nutritious local foods. At the festival some local people come to sell these souvenirs.

We employ local guides to explain the history and culture to travellers. They are knowledgeable about the rich culture of the Ashantis. We believe that these local people are in the best position to explain the history of the culture handed to them by their forefathers.

Hotels to be used are locally owned. As a responsible company, we visit them from time to time to inspect their facilities and to advise owners when the need arises.
