The tour starts at 9 am with a city tour of Tamale. We will visit the Zongo leather factory, the cattle market and the big mosque. Lunch will be taken in Tamale. In the afternoon we move to Sognayilli, a small village close to Tamale without electricity or running water. We will tour the village, pay a visit to the chief and interact with the locals; you can learn how to prepare Kuli-kuli or how to give a traditional baby massage. Dinner will be taken in Sognayilli and the night will be spent in a guesthouse made in the style of the local architecture.
Day 2: Sognayilli – Mognori
Today we will move towards Mole National Park. Our first stop here is Mognori eco-village, located right next to the park. Here we will go on a canoe safari inside the park and tour the village. The night will be spent in a traditional home in Mognori.

As this is our last evening together, we will have a small celebration with drumming and dancing.
