They are into eco tourism and their lagoon serves as a place for bird watching. They protect the turtle and the crocodiles in the lagoon. If you stay in this botel you can take advantage of enjoying the Kakum National Park which is the only national park in Africa with a canopy walkway. It is only 12 km to the park. Scientists and researchers of the national park who do not want to camp in the forest lodge in our botel due to its proximity to the park and natural flora and fauna surrounding the botel. We encourage clients to be part of protecting the biodiversity in our botel and Kakum to meet our mission and the national park to conserve for the future generation. The botel is home to numerous creatures of the lake and forest. Delight in the antics of the local weaver birds as the males compete in nest building to impress the females. There are different species of monkeys in the area and occasionally become temporary residents of the botel.


Most of the vegetables we serve are grown organically right in our garden. This is to ensure that we provide healthy foods for our clients and locals are employed to work in our garden.
