Departure Dates For This Trip is SECOND (2ND) Wednessday And THIRD Saturday Of Every Month.Effective September,2012 - May 2013

The two-day trip including a 3-hour hike to Mount Adaklu. We leave Accra on the first day after breakfast around 9:00. We travel for about 90 minutes to Akosombo where we have a guided tour on the Volta Dam and the hydro-electrical power generation plant. After lunch somewhere at the Volta River we travel for another 90 minutes to Ho and check-in to our hotels. With those who are not too tired, we drive to the village of Goefe, where we meet with the elders and the guide to introduce ourselves and plan the next day’s hike.

Before day break on the second day we go to Goefe to climb Mount Adaklu. It is a steep hike with a duration of approximately 90 minutes, and you will be forced in places to use your hands to keep the balance. The reward is a breath-taking view from the top of a 300 metre cliff, overlooking the villages and plains towards Ho.
After breakfast at the top we hike back down to the village and return to the hotel for a shower and then have lunch somewhere in Ho before travelling back to Accra.
